Melo joins old Lady

Juventus have made the transfer complete of Brazilian tough tackeler Felipe Melo from Fiorentina.

News reports in Italy hve suggested Melo has joined the old lady from the viola in a deal worth about 21m Euro. Melo is believed to earn 2.5 million Euro a season as Juve bid to bring glory days back to Stadio Delle Alpi.

Transfers in Italy never seem straight forward this deal involves Juve winger Marco Marchionni heading to Florence, with Juventus paying a reportedly extra 4 million to retain the players ownership.

Melo will join fellow Brazilian Diego at Juventus, Melo has had a quick rise to fame in European football after a convincing performances with Brazil in the confederations cup, a good season with Fiorentina after a spell in Spain with Almeria.
