Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero is the latest player to be linked with the Premier League Champions. Aguero signed for €23Million in the summer of 2006 but found it hard to adapt to life in La Liga as an 18 year old. Following is first season – Aguero went on to become one of the top marksmen in Spain, forming a deadly partnership with Diego Forlan – formerly of Manchester United.

Aguero, who is the father of Argentina national coach’s – Diego Maradona – grandson, has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Barcelona in the past and United will be hoping they can pip their domestic and European rivals to one of Europe’s top strikers.
