Swedish striker and Inter Milan’s top goal scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic would welcome a move to European Champions Barcelona, his agent said on Friday following reports the two clubs were discussing a deal.

The talented Ibrahimovic, Serie A’s top scorer last term with 25 goals, has expressed his frustration at champions Inter and would like a new challenge. Ibrahimovic signed for Inter Milan from Juventus following the investigation into match fixing in the summer of 2006.

Ibrahimovic could be involved in a swap deal with Samuel Eto’o, although that is still far away according to his agent. “I only know that if the two clubs find an agreement we would not have trouble agreeing with Barcelona,” agent Mino Raiola told the press. The transfer of Ibrahimovic would signal the potential loss of two great players from Milan clubs, with Brazilian Kaka on the brink of a record breaking move to Real Madrid.
