
AC Milan striker Fillipo Inzaghi netted a hat-trick against Torino to see his side move up to joint second after a 5-1 victory of Torino. Elsewhere, Juventus were held at home by Serie A Leaders Internazionale whilst lowly Reggina obtained a priceless win away at Atalanta.
Inzaghi scored two headers, both assisted by David Beckham, and secured the match ball with a close-range finish following a Ronaldinho through ball, which made it 3-0. Kaka scored a penalty before Massimo Ambrosini rounded off the impressive win. Ivan Franceschini scored the consolation goal for Torino.
Elsewhere, Juventus were held 1-1 against Internazionale in what was a must win game for the Bianconeri. Internazionale now stand ten points clear with only six games to go – giving them an enormous advantage in another scudetto. Balotelli opened the scoring for the Italian league leaders and right at the death Grygera snatched a point for the 27 times Serie A winners.
