Stevan Gerrard trains at Stamford bridge today ahead of Liverpool’s 2nd leg clash with Chelsea. The Liverpool skipper stated the leauge match with Blackburn on the bench due to injury.
Gerrard is in doubt for Liverpool’s trip to stanford bridge due to a reaccurence of a groin injury. The Liverpool captin is due to train today which leaves Rafa Benitez hoping to make a late selection with Gerrard in the starting line up. Liverpool trail from the first leg 1-3 so Liverpool need at least two away goals and surley with the inclusion of Gerrard makes their task more achevible.
Bennitez will clearly look to hve Gerrard involved. His inspirational captin would give Liverpool a huge boost with his inclusion, only now does Bennitez gamble and play Gerrard in a game which could already be a lost cause, or keep him fresh for Liverpool’s tittle pursuit.
