Lee Hughes joins Championship struggerlers Blackpool on loan untill the end of the season. The veteran striker has been in form however hitting the back of the net 18 times making him the top scorer at Boundary park. Oldham however still have the faintest of a chance to reach a play-off position fans may be left a bit surprised by the decision.
Hughes’s contract was near to expiering and boss Joe Royle was keen to start to look for new fire power at the start of next season. Oldham maybe finding it hard to match the forwards wage demands and look stick with Steve Kabba and Deane Smalley
