Arsenal forward Emmanuel Adebayor is set to miss the Gunners 2nd leg clash with Roma at the staido Olympico on Wednesday night. The Togolese front man has been out of action since limping out of the North London derby with a hamstring injury a month ago.
Adebayor has found it a season of frustration having been in and out of the Arsenal team with various injures, the latest setback coming at a bad time for Arsenal as they struggled for goals in recent games, but following recent comebacks of other injured players most notably Eduardo it leaves manager Arsene Wenger in a determined mood to finish off the job in Rome.
Wenger also expects to see Kolo Toure return after missing the F.A. Cup tie with Burnley.
The Burnley match saw Theo Walcott and Eduardo return to the side, which should help Wenger”s team in front of goal, a problem in recent weeks. Not naming his starting eleven until nearer match day but confirming all three should be in the squad as Wenger goes to Rome with a one goal advantage but still wanting to attack and get a away goal.
Arsenal will still be without Adebayor and Fabregas for a couple of more weeks, long term absentee Tomas Rosicky, Andri Arshavin also misses out being cup-tied.
